Fall is here and so is a new menu at Chinched Bistro!  Over the last few weeks we have slowly phased out each of the items from our Summer menu and implemented our Fall selection.  These items will run from now until the Christmas season.


Only a week in and we’re already considering this menu to be a huge success.  Some house favorites have made their return like the Cornmeal Crusted Chicken Livers and the Korean Braised Pork Belly (above). Other new additions to the menu such as the Citrus Cured Salmon with the Crispy Poached Egg and the Octopus Stew (below) have also been very popular.


We’ve also decided to do something a little different on this menu and offer a dinner for two option. Our Maple Glazed Hot Smoked Pork shank with Seasonal Sides (below) is served on a platter allowing two people to serve themselves what is quickly becoming one of the most popular entrées on the menu. The Ice Caps Season is also upon us with the first home game tomorrow starting at 7pm.  Like last season we will be opening our bar at 5:30 and offering tapa’s specials for the pre-game.  Chinched is located directly across the street from the stadium, there’s no better place to eat before going to see the game!

The From this Rock Dinner is also about to be upon us. On October 25th Chef Hussey will be joining a team of the top chefs in St. John’s for an 8 course dinner hosted by none other than Shaun Majumder.
