Cape Spear is celebrating it’s 50th year as a Canadian National Historic site. To celebrate, Chinched Bistro and Bacalao have teamed up for, “Lunch at the Lighthouse.”

In order to celebrate this historical importance of Cape Spear, the most easterly point in North America, Chinched and Bacalao will be serving lunch in the lighthouse’s historic dining room.  These will be the first meals served in Cape Spear since the lightkeeper and his family lived in the lighthouse itself.

The lunches will start at 12:30 each Sunday and will run from July 15th to August 26th.  The experience will include history about the lighthouse, music provided by local musicians and of course, a fantastic meal.

If you’re interested in attending you can find more details at http://www.pc.gc.ca/lhn-nhs/nl/spear/activ/activ1 or you can call Nancy at RANL at 765 8483 to book your seat.

We hope to see you there!
