Restaurant News: A new restaurant owned by couple Shaun Hussey and Michelle LeBlanc, has a name that is quintessentially Newfoundland.

Chinched Bistro means ‘to stow, stuff or pack tightly; to be full,’ according to the Dictionary of Newfoundland English.

The 43-seat bistro opened in late August, with Hussey in the kitchen as chef and LeBlanc making the pastries in a casual, fine dining setting of just 900 square feet.
